Scene:
The food court. The girls are sitting at a table with another table or two
next to them with bags and boxes piled on to it. Happily eating whatever it is
they eat.
Buffy: Where are the guys?
Silia: Buying stuff and having it delivered.
Caitlyn: Invading minds is a no no, Sil.
Silia: I’m not. It’s just something Alex
would do. And since Xander is less annoying and yet similar I’m applying the
laws of Alex to him.
Caitlyn: (rolls her eyes and mumbles
something that gets a laugh out of Buffy)
Silia: What?
(Just then Allison and Jubilee arrive.
Sitting down Alli holds her hand out to Silia.)
Allison: We need cash for food.
Silia: (barely looks at her) You do? Oh gee.
I’m out.
Allison: What? You can’t be! (Pouts and
looks close to tears) We’re hungry!!
Silia: I’m your legal guardian not your
bank account.
Allison: But.. but..
Silia: Alli?
Alli: (sniffling) Yes?
Silia: Check your pocket. And I’ve told
you before the crying act doesn’t work on me. I perfected that.
Allison: (immediately perks up) Well it’s
still fun! C’mon, Jubes. (Drags Jubilee, who has actually remained silent
this whole time, to get food)
Buffy: You’re her guardian?
Silia: Mhm. (drinks some soda. Waves
vaguely) Look who finally showed up.
(Heading for the gang are Xander and Quinn.
The only things they are carrying are food.)
Quinn: Yeah.. Sorry we got kind of side
tracked. One reason is that we couldn’t figure out where the sudden cash in
our pockets came from.
Caitlyn: (ignores the cash comment) You guys
were standing out side Victoria Secret weren’t you.
Xander: Of course not! Why would you think
that?
Silia: Okay so law #21 doesn’t apply here.
Xander and Quinn: Huh?
Silia: Never mind.
Buffy: So you two didn’t find anything?
Quinn: We did.
Caitlyn: Where is the stuff then?
Xander: Delivery.
(Alli and Jubilee return)
Jubilee: What’s being delivered?
Xander: Huge tv. Some furniture that I
liked..
Quinn: And some stuff to build a make shift
lab for me.
Allison: You wasted your money.
Xander: Why?
Allison: Caitlyn could build you a tv as big
or larger that can get stations across all over. And I mean cross time and
stuff.
Xander: Can she still do that?
Caitlyn: Of course! A little bit of tweaking
and tagging and boom! Super television.
Quinn: Wouldn’t you need lab equipment?
Caitlyn: My lab is in a time and space void.
It’s in between realities and dimensions. I have access to it any time.
Buffy: Couldn’t you use that as a way to
get us home?
Caitlyn: No. Because the only place it ever
lead to before was..
Silia: Our earth. Ugh I can’t believe I
didn’t think of this sooner!
Caitlyn: We use it to go home and get..
Allison: Pharengese! She can do anything!
And if she can’t do it…
Silia: Kagato could. How blind are we?
Jubilee: So we might get home?
Caitlyn: Possibly. I know this earth’s
protective field doesn’t interfere with my lab and me. But I never did try
the home doors.
Silia: But then it might block it and we’ll
still be stuck.
Xander: Can’t hurt to try.
Buffy: Eager to get back to miss superglue?
Xander: Eager to make cheap shots on Anya?
Buffy: Isn’t she cheap enough?
Allison: (whispering to Jubilee) How much
you wanna bet that before everyone goes home those two will be all over each
other?
Jubilee: (whispering back) Home as in our
earths or the house?
Allison: Earths.
Jubilee: You’re on. No way they will be.
Fifty bucks?
Allison: Deal.

Mean while..
Scene: Alex and Ashley are in front of a
large control panel and a large circular frame.
Alex: (frantic) We have to get them back!
Ashley: (calm) Alex. Calm. Down. They can take care of themselves.
Alex: (just stares at her)……
Ashley: (sighs inwardly) Alex.. maybe you
wouldn’t be so freaked if you just got over her.
Alex: What are you talking about?
Ashley: Every one knows.
Alex: Every one?
Ashley: Mhm. Except Silia. But she’s just
too busy to notice.
Alex: (rolls his eyes) Oh that’s an ego
booster. (Waves a hand to the frame) Can we get this working?
Ashley: I have Cat’s intelligence. I can
do anything.
Alex: Then do it!
(Ashley turns to the control panel and
starts pressing keys. The frame comes to life suddenly and a portal opens.)
Ashley: Ta da!
Alex: Well? Bring them back!
Ashley: (mumbling as she works) Do this, do
that. When the hell did I become his secretary?
(The portal flashes and someone comes
falling through)
Alex: (stares at the new arrival) That’s
not them.
Ashley: Oops.

Scene: Back at the house. Everyone is
standing in front of a hall closet.
Caitlyn: Ready?
Jubilee: Hello? Can any one say, ‘This is
a closet.’? Duh.
Xander: Can anyone say ‘shut up Twinkie
thief’?
Jubilee: Get over it. God.
(Caitlyn ignores everyone and opens the
door. She walks in and the others follow. Everyone finds them selves in a
large area the size of a gymnasium filled with futuristic equipment and
unfinished projects.)
Quinn: I’m in heaven.
Jubilee: Holy..
Buffy: Whoa.
Xander: What’s
this do?
Silia: (spins around and pulls Xander away
from a large red button.) Don’t touch that!
Xander: Why? What’s it do?
Silia: (thinks) … I don’t know.
Caitlyn: It just turns on the air
conditioning. Please don’t touch anything though. Silia,
we’ll go check out the com and portal. You guys can look around just don’t
touch okay?
Quinn: Can I come? I want to see your setup.
Caitlyn: Sure.
(Silia, Quinn, and Caitlyn leave the others
behind.)
Buffy: What now?
Allison: (grinning) Wanna see the training
hall?
Xander: The what?
Allison: It’s like the X-Men’s danger
room.
Jubilee: With the solid images an all the
cool stuff?
Allison: (nodding) Yeah! Except it’s a mix
technology of future, alien, Cat’s stuff and magic. Wanna try it?
Xander: Hello? You three seem to have the
whole power thing. I don’t.
Buffy: Alli doesn’t have powers.
Allison: (her grin grows wider) Yeah I do!
And you can use some of our equipment Xander!
Xander: Equipment?
Allison: Trust me.
